CSR Personnel Office Makeover

When you walk into a business that is decorated well, it immediately feels like a professional and successful work place. With a few simple additions to a plain office, I took CSR from dull and uninviting to interesting and welcoming.

JACQUIE'S OFFICE BEFORE

Before, Jacquie's office was lacking personality. She's a classy, vibrant, fun business woman and I wanted that to show through in her work environment.

By framing her awards, they draw more attention to show off her hard work. Adding a tall vase to the top of the bookcase makes the room feel taller. Pops of green and silver throughout the artwork tie unlike images together, as well as add interest.

The addition of mirrors make the room feel larger. You'll notice that I am a huge fan of mirrors and I use them everywhere!

Adding a silver lamp nods to Jacquie's love of anything shiny
and allows her extra lighting for those long nights at her desk.

WAITING AREA BEFORE

WAITING AREA AFTER

Before, the company's awards were arranged behind the seating area, making it difficult for those waiting to view the awards. The old chairs felt very sterile and modern. By adding leather chairs and textured pillows, it softened the space. The birch tree art above the chairs added in some much needed color. A few simple accessories made this area complete.

Getting rid of clutter is key! Especially in the first area visitors see when entering the building. The company's awards are now showcased in a way that everyone will see them.

I included a console table for visitors to use when filling out paper work at the office. It is complete with a bench that opens for extra storage.

 ASHLEY'S OFFICE BEFORE

ASHLEY'S OFFICE AFTER

Ashley also loves anything girly. I added character to her office with the addition of vases, mirrors, a globe (she likes to travel), and other accessories. Before, it could have been anyone's office. Now, the space feels much more feminine.

 CONFERENCE ROOM BEFORE

CONFERENCE ROOM AFTER

The conference room was a very simple fix. The original picture hanging on the large wall was not to scale, making it feel incomplete on such a big blank canvas. The larger mirror in the after photo is now balanced by ferns that were already in the office. I placed them on rod iron stools to bring varying heights throughout the room.
